The ECO-I 2019 Conference and Exhibition brought together academia, industry, and policy to share recent research advances driving eco-innovation across six key global challenges: energy, waste, food water, resource efficiency, and natural capital.
The conference highlighted various facets of innovation for clean and sustainable growth, showcasing a challenge-led, solution-driven approach and the importance of collaboration.
Lancaster University generates the most renewable energy on site of all English universities. Delegates were offered the opportunity to tour the innovative facilities to demonstrate how this is achieved and how successfully the staff and students are engaged with sustainability initiatives.
